I’ve been running for almost 10 years and the whole time, I wished I could be one of those women who runs in just a sports bra in warm weather. But, I’ve always told myself I wasn’t thin enough, and that I’d be able to when I got down to some magical goal weight. Well, today, I finally decided to say f**k that.

I got about halfway through my long run and realized I was overdressed. Rather than deal with being too warm for the second half, I decided to take off my shirt, tie it around my waist, and focus on finishing strong instead! Did I feel weird at first? Yes, but guess what? Nobody said anything, nobody’s eyeballs burned out, and I got to finish my run without getting uncomfortably warm. So, long story short, if you want to go out in just a sports bra, do the dang thing! I promise it will be nothing but liberating.

Shout out to @fabletics for making cute, supportive bras for larger chested ladies, and to women like @thebirdspapaya for helping to give me the confidence to start embracing my body the way it is.

Honestly wasn’t feeling much like running today, but as expected, felt great once I got myself out there. 4.5 miles including 3 miles of 400 m intervals at 5k pace. I’m beat!

Looking like a hot mess post run and getting in some foam rolling with my favorite girl & pup!

The last week has been a bit rough, as we adjust to both of us working full-time at home, with no daycare for at least the next couple of weeks. We’re tired, we’re worried about current events, but we know how lucky we are to be working and to have employers who understand we need to balance childcare, as well. I definitely needed that run today, though!

Back at it! I’ve been out of commission for a week because of a bad cold. Did a short shake out on the treadmill and hoping to pick up a long run on Monday.
